The short version. This website has no contact form, no analytics, no advertising trackers and sets no cookies. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell anything to anyone.
If you email us or call us, we hold what you send us, for as long as we are talking. That is essentially all.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by NTI GLOBAL SRL, trading as ORAND Advisors, with its registered office in Bucharest, Romania.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. For anything relating to your data, write to andrei.stamate@orand-advisors.com.
2. What this website collects
Nothing that you type is sent to us by the website itself. There is no contact form and no submission of any kind. Three things do happen automatically, and you should know about them.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard access data for every page served: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the browser used. This is generated by the web server, not by us, and it is used to keep the site running and secure.
- Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google's servers. When a page opens, your browser requests those files directly from Google, which means your IP address reaches Google. This is a transfer to a third party and you should be aware of it before browsing.
- Nothing else. No analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no session recording, no heat maps, no chat widget.
3. Cookies
This website sets no cookies. That is why you are not being asked to accept any. If that ever changes, this notice changes with it, and you will be asked before anything is stored.
4. The automation guide
The page at orand-advisors.com/automate/ asks you six questions about a task you do by hand. What you type there is stored in your own browser, on your own device, so that you do not lose your answers if you close the tab.
It is never transmitted to us. There is no submission button. The page composes an email in your own mail application, which you read, edit and send yourself. Until you press send, nothing has left your computer. If you clear your browser data, your answers are gone and we never had them.
We ask you not to include real client names, real colleague names or real figures in what you send us. The structure of the work is what matters, not the data inside it.
5. When you contact us
If you email us or call us, we hold what you choose to give us: your name, your email address, your phone number, your company, and whatever you write in the message or attach to it.
We use it to answer you and to carry out the work you ask us to do. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass your details to anyone for marketing.
6. Why we are allowed to hold it
- Steps taken at your request. When you contact us about possible work, we process your data in order to respond and to prepare or perform a contract with you.
- Legitimate interests. Keeping the website available and secure, and keeping a record of business correspondence.
- Legal obligation. Where accounting or tax rules require us to keep records of work performed.
7. How long we keep it
Correspondence that does not lead to work is kept for 180 days and then deleted. Records connected to an engagement are kept for as long as the applicable accounting and tax rules require, and then deleted.
Server logs are kept by our hosting provider according to their own retention schedule.
9. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or send it to you in a portable form. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Write to andrei.stamate@orand-advisors.com and we will answer within one month. We will not charge you for it, and we will not ask you to justify the request.
10. Complaints
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), at dataprotection.ro.
11. Changes to this notice
If we change how this site works, we change this page and update the date at the top. There is no version history to dig through: what you read here is what applies today.
12. Terms of use
The content
Everything on this site, including the text, the images and the tools, belongs to ORAND Advisors unless stated otherwise. You may read it, print it and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it as your own or sell it.
What this site is not
The pages describe how we work and what we have done. They are not professional advice for your situation, and nothing here creates a client relationship. Advice starts when we agree in writing what we are doing for you.
The tools
The automation guide and any calculators on this site are provided as they are, to help you think. The figures they produce are estimates based on what you type. They are not a quotation, a promise of savings or a substitute for a proper assessment.
Availability
We try to keep the site up and correct. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors, and we are not liable for loss arising from using it or from being unable to use it.
Links to other sites
Where we link elsewhere, we do not control what is on the other side and we are not responsible for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law, and the courts of Bucharest, Romania, have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
